have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and
agree to comply with these Terms.
2. Products & Services
We provide furniture products, custom furniture design, carpentry work, installation, and related services.
All products and services are subject to availability, design specifications, material constraints, and production considerations.
We reserve the right to:
modify, discontinue, or update any product or service at any time,
adjust pricing, designs, specifications, or materials without prior notice.
3. Quotes, Orders & Payment
3.1 Quotes
Quotes provided through WhatsApp, email, or our contact forms are based on available information at the time and may vary if:
measurements are inaccurate,
design requirements change, or
materials become unavailable.
3.2 Orders
Orders are considered confirmed only after:
deposit/payment is received, OR
written confirmation is issued by us.
3.3 Payment Terms
Unless otherwise stated:
A deposit may be required for custom orders.
Full payment must be made before delivery or installation.
We accept payment methods as listed on our Site or provided during quotation.
We reserve the right to cancel orders for fraudulent, incomplete, or invalid payment information.
4. Delivery, Lead Time & Installation
4.1 Lead Time
Lead times may vary depending on:
complexity of designs,
availability of materials,
workload and scheduling.
Any stated lead time is an estimate and not a guarantee. Delays do not constitute grounds for compensation unless legally required.
4.2 Delivery & Installation
Delivery charges vary by location.
Customers must ensure:
the delivery path is clear,
measurements (doorways, lifts, hallways) are accurate,
their presence or representation at the agreed time.
We are not responsible for:
inability to deliver due to inaccessible premises,
delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen events,
additional charges for re-delivery or re-installation due to customer error.
5. Custom Orders
For custom furniture:
All designs, measurements, and materials must be confirmed before production.
Custom items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once production begins.
Slight variation in colour, texture, or grain may occur due to natural materials—these are not considered defects.
6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
6.1 Returns & Refunds
We only accept returns or refunds if:
the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect upon delivery, AND
the issue is reported within 48 hours with photo/video proof.
We do not accept returns or refunds for:
change of mind,
slight colour/material variations,
custom-made orders,
damage caused by misuse or improper installation by third parties.
6.2 Cancellations
Orders for ready-made items may be cancelled before shipment (subject to a cancellation fee).
Custom-made orders cannot be cancelled after materials have been purchased or production has started.
7. Warranty
We provide a warranty for workmanship (if stated in quotation or product listing). Warranty does not cover:
wear and tear,
misuse or improper handling,
water, moisture, pest, or environmental damage,
unauthorised repairs or alterations.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including images, product designs, logos, copywriting, graphics, and layout — is the property of MKM DESIGN FURNITURE unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any materials without prior written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
indirect, incidental, or consequential damages,
loss of profits, revenue, or data,
delays or failure to perform due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, shortages, transportation delays, etc.).
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the product or service.
10. User Responsibilities
By using our Site or services, you agree not to:
violate any laws or regulations,
submit false or misleading information,
attempt to disrupt or harm our website or systems,
misuse content, trademarks, or designs belonging to MKM DESIGN FURNITURE.
